Jamboree On The Air      - a world wide Scouting event

2011Oct15-16, Sat-Sun.    This will be the 53rd Annual J.O.T.A.    This is a weekend Scouting event where youths from all over the planet communicate over radio sets.   JOTA is always held on the 3rd full weekend in October each year.   Amateur Radio Associations will assist you with offering J.O.T.A. to your youths.   Contact Charlie 604-888-3212 of the Langley Amateur Radio Association or Walt Bond 604-533-9500 of the Surrey Amateur Radio Association.   These clubs will welcome you at any time of the year, not just around JOTA time.   Link to World Scout Jamboree On The Air:   www.scout.org/wse/jota.shtml

Jamboree On The Internet      - a world wide Scouting event

2011Oct15-16, Sat-Sun.    This will be the 14th Annual "J. O. T. I."    This is a weekend Scouting event where youths from all over the planet communicate over the Internet.   The World Scout Jamboree-On-The Internet is held on the third full weekend of October each year, starting at 00.00 hours local time on the Saturday and concluding 48 hours later at 24:00 hours local time on the Sunday.      www.joti.org/    (World Scout Jamboree On The Internet)
