Seymour.
Hi everyone,
We have arranged an exciting day at Mt Seymour. We tried this
function with our own Colony last year and it was great. So here
are the facts:

1. Sunday Feb 26/12 1-4PM at the Tobogganing Hill. /Tubing parking
lot of Mt Seymour . Follow the signs. Park in the lower parking
lot below the Tobogganing Hill. This is the lot with the Day lodge
and Tubing area as well.

2. We have arranged to rent the Yurt (small round hut) holds approx
50-60 people. This is a great warm up area as well as we will
be serving food here.

3. I will be at the Mountain around 12:30 on to collect the $9
fee per person. This fee includes the Yurt and BBQ rental as well
as Hot dogs and Hot chocolate to warm up those chilly Beavers.
Parents and siblings are welcome to Toboggan if they wish but
are also required to pay for the event .$9 per person.

4. Please bring a Peanut free sharing snack for the chow down
near the end of the event.

5. Please and I must stress this.....Dress for the weather. This
can be a very cold event. Extra gloves,good snow boots,snow pants,ski
jackets etc.

6. You are welcome to bring any commercially made sliding device.
ie sled,toboggan,snow speeder,snow surf board,super slider,magic
carpet to name a few. CARDBOARD is not allowed. You can rent a
magic carpet for $1 from the mountain if they are available and
not all rented. I ask that if you have extra sliders please bring
them so that someone else can borrow it. Thank you in advance.

7. I am including an attachment with some forms. You do not have
to sign these they are just for your information.

8. Getting up the hill to Mt Seymour. You will need snow tires
. They keep the road in good shape but we have to play it safe.
Carpooling is an option if you so desire with families within
in group. There is a Shuutle available form the base of the mountain.
They pickup at Parkgate Community Center behind the Safeway .
If you are not sure where Mt Seymour is just look them up on the
Internet. Shuttle cost is $6 per person each way. Check the www.mountseymour.com
website for more details.

9. Please get back to me with some attendance numbers as they
will need these for this event including Parents and siblings
numbers. I also need to pickup enough food for the event.
