during business hours 8:30am-4:30pm regular business days and
request booking for Ponder Park. A $50 booking deposit
will be required.
Please do
not call George (noted below) re bookings.
He can only help you with information.
Cost
The public fee structure for
Ponder Park is $1 per person per day. Final payment of
the fee (with adjustment of deposit) will be required before
departure. Users receive their deposit back if they arrive
on the booked date and leave the Camp Area in an acceptable
state on departure. Bookings
will be "a year in advance" from any day you call.
At Ponder you will find 7 outhouses, 2 large
camp sites and a big permanent shelter, with cold running water
and sinks.
You will not find electricity or a fridge.

Ponder
Park Work Weekend
2012
March 09-11, Friday-Sunday
Bring
your youths, camp for free, and do some trail clearing, carpentry,
painting, etc. There are many other clean-up related chores
to be done as well. Come for a couple of hours or stay
all weekend. All sections are welcome. Free coffee
& juice (bring your own mugs). Please supervise your
youths, and remember that
a maximum of 2 vehicles at a time, is
all that can be down at the shelter.

Ponder
Park (25199 76th Avenue) is an 80 acre nature reserve
in Langley, owned by Langley Township and cared for by Nicomekl
Scouting & some Guiding groups. Our lease
runs from January, 1974 to January, 2024. For
